Saluting with misty eyes

Putrid Flesh
Bloating, rotting in the sun
Victims of injustice
All deaths occurring
Upon a single command
From their aggressors
To whom no sin had been dealt
Save the difference in birth
No battlefield, this
Their homes aflame
As corpses await burial
By any who stumble past
Having been left by their creators
To care for themselves
With only one final thought:
Of the options presented
It is better to remain alive

I'm drowning, choking
   Falling deeper into this
   Black hole we call living
...Fates Warning

Very deep and dark.  Sounds like you are talking from first hand experience.  IF so I pray you are able to heal from your experience.  Bless you.

Sheri- Thanks for reading!! No, it wasn't my personal experiences... just a scribble I did while getting in the mind-set to write the new album (CD??)
