The blind man is laughing
A the side of the busy street
At the tap, tap, tapping
Of all the busy peoples' feet

But its the kind of laughter,
That brings tears to his eyes.
But its the kind of laughter,
For when a foolish child dies.

The old man stands shaking
And starts to ride
The sidewalk with cane tapping
Rythmicly side to side

But the blind man is not happy
Oh no not this great sage
No the blind man is not happy
He is a furnace fueled by rage

A skinned knee for a child
His mother crouched beside
A bout of laughter for the addled
With his rage trapped still inside

Neither night nor day can give me purchase only purged dust on earth can avenge the worthless.

ok honestly i don't get it, but still i find it intruiging, it's not every day you think of an angry blind man...well I just watched Electra, but still...hmmmm.

Look through the eyes of a person who has been blind their entire lives. When you fall, people laugh throughout your entire life. It dosent matter if they find it humorous because its funny, or because of your disability they laugh anyway. Thus, when someone else falls... especialy a child when children can be so cruel the pent up frustration and anger bubbles to the surface a little in the form of a cackle.

dunno if that clarifys
