She lost her children in the brook
So she'll keep me on her hook
I feel my stomach start to rise
I found an infant in those eyes
(I'm sorry but we just can't keep you)

The washing of my hands
Does the numbness break at dawn?
The washing of my feet
Sure it's aligned, but it's still wrong
So she lost her children to the song...

The hydra spits in my face
The child who won't be born
The universe is full of scorn
so I make my dues in advance
Because the boy behind the sun
he won't be back...
