Shield your eyes
If I could
I would
paint her
smiling
but her
features
are cast
in the
devil's
likeness
an angels
countenance
& a demon's charm
combine
to generate
& banish
hope

with fingertips

empty space

where the imagination plays
tricks

slight of hand

determines demons from angels

and myth
from want.
