One fine evening, some time ago
I fell into my gloom and left
the world alone, to ponder in the
grasp of humanity all the carnage
of our peace and freedom. The laughter
died down as did the lights on stage
the city moaned twice, for democracy,
to which bullets are ringing louder than
the bells, what crap we will believe
as long as it sells. I've lived through
the night a thousand times over, not
more than once has it ever been without
anger, I've pulled the trigger on your
falicy so your program of god can
begin to bleed. What rightious vigor can
you adore, while you clutch the hands of
freedom, the constitution, and the bible,
your whore.
