Her handbag’s full of needles
But her mother doesn’t lover her
Her handbag’s full and needless
But her father had a glove on his hand

Slipping on the curves of the high-rise
Another street lamp fades below
But her daddy doesn’t know
That when her eyes grow cold
And she begins to slumber with the soil
That glove has no grip to hold

Hey, willow locks
Could you try to smile?
Your needles are empty
Not a thing worth your while
(opened eyes at last)
