Fun and joy
Smiling happy
The sun shinning brightly

Beachball but its all red
Promise of a game well spent
Perfect wind from salty water
While you lie in the sand
..."a cover-up"

Light a spark
Set a flame
Light me on fire
Let me burn
Doused with gas
Tied to a pole
Wooden so it burns too

This torch in the night
Lights the way
I can see clearly now
The truth of certain death

Roused by flickering
You come and see
Look at me
Hot coals touch your feet
And you realize...

My pole breaks
Splits over
On top of me
Burning
My weight body swelling
Bloated, inflamed, dying
Slender sway
This death I hang

Remember the neon green
Your tingling sensation
All the feelings
Tense teeter toiling
Mirage of fire
He saves
We will always die
One after another
With the option of good death
Or bad death

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
