Precious few guarantees and other assorted guilty pleasures swirl around this once dense head
We are sisters of saints and we’ve made such a mess we are allowed a carnal pleasure or two

Insufferable is teeth and I place no bother unto
you, Here to lie, to prosper and teeter on a breaker
When you place the world in the hands of liars and their betters this almost makes sense

Dante’s recollection is hitting close to home
Faces depart into the dark; matches without their flames
Your scream is far too permanent we want you transient
Crippled by communication I limped home to your waiting arms
Found you wading in the belly of the beast, content because movement hurts so much
You were too crippled for communication
so I did what you would do for me

I ripped you apart with common sense; to shred and mingle with like minded individuals
They inhale you and you settle in their throats; where they laugh and cough and gladly spit you out

New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire

Awesome, Jackal! Deep, dark and extremely well structured. I absolutely love (and commonly invoke) this type of free style writing where lines seem long, but must be so to make the point with a poignant flame.
I truly enjoyed this. Thanks!

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere
