Torment.
The constant nag.
Your voice.
Why won't you leave?

Isn't it my life?
Mine to control.
My life to learn.
My life to fail.

You say that your my guide.
But you push me.
Rush me.
Through lifes doors.

Do this.
Do that.
What am I? You pet?
Your the kit and im the kat?

Did you give birth to me?
Did you create me?
No.
Your just my legal concience.

To me your nothing.
Just a headache.
A bother.
A figment of my imagination.

Your lucky.
I think life is precious.
I would end it.
End your destruction, and my torment.

Wow, perhaps you should listen to that voice, and it might become your best friend.  here try this:  Only fools hate correction, correct a wise man and he will be wiser still.

Become my own best friend? Hm I guess I could since no one is there for me, But me and my torment. :P

Stars, though unseen on dark nights. Are still there, just hidden away. Twinkling, winking at us, and laughing at our dismay
