I can see the base of the pole Soft light brown almost white color The dirt around like it was dug out. See streams of blood running down this pole I love it It makes my eyes water And I hang my head with the flow of this blood I see where it has gathered on the ground I'm here at the base I can smell it While it sinks into the earth and hardens Into the darkness of dead blood Can I understand? Why? It makes me sad And my face falls to the dirt I don't want to leave here I never want to forget what I see Please don't let me be distracted Keep my focus on you I never accomplish anything on my own You are my accomplishment Finding you I didn't even do that though, you did You showed me I don't want to leave you So I'll stay here, With my master Thank you Lord Corruption is caused by holes in obedience to God. |
