Once full
and alive?
Maybe
And contacts slip to glasses
While Vodka to pepsi

This feel of who I am
Is no longer who I was
Maybe
I'm not anymore
Loosely swelling until I'm choking

Now arms from no place for certain
Give me hugs
Promise
And I'm so confused
Chase and I miss my place

To come clear and understand
Gelatin skull
Fat and wide atmosphere
Slip in the cracks
Except this place where you forget

Doing the same thing a million times in a row will definitely affect your head.  Read and pratice and read and pratice and read and prati........ead a

here is a nice place to be.

you are always loved here, craig. and i've missed your writes the past week!

of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep.

Thanks eve.  You're a cool friend.  And if I could figure out how to work those smiley icons I'd probably send some hugs back.  (Just pretend, ok.  lol)

Maybe the smileys are a "cut and paste thing" lol.  I mean check it out
I think.  It looks kinda blank to me.

The good thing about this poem is it is totally different than its author, for its author is not only "not empty," but so "full up" of spirit that he's overflowing!

As for the smilies and the cut and paste thing, no you don't have to cut and paste... when you are typing a response, scroll to the bottom of the page beneath where you click to submit your response, and you'll see the Smilies underlined. Click on that and it'll show you how to type the word for each one with colons at the beginning and end of the word, and there you go...it'll be in your response! Hope this helps...

Yeah thanks Purity.  You're a cool friend.  And like I usually say, I love you guys.

Creature, thanks.  The thing about cut and paste was about me wondering how to insert simley faces.  And I guess I know now.

Thanks Laura,  I don't want to call myself great, but they'll probably stop coming when its no longer possible to write.

Thanks Sophie, yeah the ending.  Kinda like a buttercup on a steamer...

Thanks, Purity!

Nice poem, Craig, suddenly feels like someone left the air conditioning on, cold....Let's fill our heads with firewood and light a match. Eck, random but hey.
Nice poem again.

thank you puryty.

And Courtney, you're obviously a genius.  I believe that is how I saw poetry being taught on dead poets society.  Just random.  lol.
