As I sat there
I realized all you were in life...
False
Making me believe
Draining me of everything
We stared eye to eye
Waiting there for temptation to get us
I didn't call you all the things that you called me
I didn't sit around forever
Though forever is a long time
I turned my face away
Your friends saw right through you
Yet you played the game
Making them believe it was all me
I loathed you then
I loathe you even more now
But..
That is my guilt to bare
And when you walked away...
I sat there

Love,
Ladycat

"That is my guilt to bare"
Not sure if you meant to use "bear" as
in to carry, or "bare" as into shed,
but the great thing is i love the "bare"!!!

Deep emotional unscarring you are poetically enscribing!

I agree. I liked it, Ladycat. And such a great title.
And that is interesting about the dualistic bear versus bare.

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere
