I wander aimlessly this earth,
in a state of continual gift horse for-grantedness.
Never able to answer simple with yes
the are you happys of each day,
but unsure of single factors that make it so.
Many things there are to curve my lips'
ends upward that seem less than appealing.
Mental awareness scratched beyond focus
with a solitary wanting...of a furtherance of exchange
of mutual commitment.
Is it improper to offer such importance to only one
facet of a perceived gemstone life?
Demeaning the stained glass beauty of offerings from others
wanting...only for me to make less
the significance of soul mate bliss.
Unfortunately, this magnanimous bliss is the one
gift horse that thus far prances a less intense stride.
Making this life a living hell on earth that,
however much I want...I cannot leave until I either
gain bliss or lose current prance, and die.

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere

god how i've been here. depression sucks a big one.
please, please don't lose that current prance, for it is such a beautiful sight, purity.
prance on! this was so good, but so sad. the ending needs your friends to help you rewrite.

of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep.

You, Purity, are a genius
& one of the truest of poets of our time.
I can't begin to compliment justly.
& from my measly point of view,
it is not improper at all (that which you asked)
I'm amazed. "thusfar prances a less intense stride"...hell on earth. Like Eve,
don't lose that current prance,
for even the Clydesdales are in envy.

Thank you, guys. I appreciate your words.
(Not only in response to my poem, but also the ones you write in your poems.) I am blessed to have such a place to escape to.

Didn't really understand till the end, really. But I liked your use of words, and we all got to keep our dancing shoes on!
