She died today
that friday night
the night forever will haunt me
living in the shadow
of what might have been
taking with me nothing
as i travel in to nothingness
"im there for you"
is what they say, say it all the more
living in this world today
is hell on earth its self
her life is turned upside down
in one single hour of that day
why today
why now
why
why
why?????

I have been stricken with searching
for the answer to the same question.
Even titled a poem after the question.
Still don't know the answer,
But I felt this way down deep.

We share in your grief, Nightfall. It has been a long season of grief for me, so I relate to the ethereal question.

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere
