Nestled to the teat
   of the television.
Feelings numbed by the sweet
   glow of the screen.

Sucking down the virtual feelings
   replace those full of pain
Sucking down the virtual light
   to calm my dark reality

No need to feel
   we have the T.V.
No need to think
   we have the T.V.

No need to be me
   I have the T.V.

I've never really thought about this subject - but it's so true. A lot of people are very consumed with the television - myself included. Kind of makes me fear what the future well be like. Everyone will be...fake.

having actually been on the inside of the t.v. looking out, i can totally relate to your point.
