How lucky are the dead,
for they can no longer care.
How damned are the living,
caring more than they can bare.

How lucky are the dead,
for they can no longer love.
How damned are the living,
finding a love they are unworthy of.

How lucky are the dead,
for they can no longer feel.
How damned are the living,
feeling emotions that are real.

How lucky are the dead,
for they can no longer cry.
How damned are the living,
when tears are always nigh.

Death's kindly cool kiss rests
upon all lucky ones.

Never on me.

That reminds me of the question of why be in a rush to die?  Which I myself should bring closer to my heart.  Its not like death is actually avoidable.  In the end we all die.  So just live it til you do.

When you think of it this way, they are lucky.
