the blood red roses lie guiltily on the beds of the dead
a hungry wolves cry rolls over the hills
shadows linger on the misty grass
your feet seduce the mossy ground with gentle attempt
to reach your destination
before
its
too late

your bed cries out to you with moaning infatuation
it whispers to you in the night
it begs
it pleads
for you to take that step further
into the dark
and
back
again

you can crawl, you can creep
it doesn't matter how you get there
as long as your down on your knees
and as you lie down in the dirt
hold your breath cause you wont be
coming
out
again

Wow, freaky deakie, man. Too much of Joyful Troyful, and not enough pink smokers, had crancole yesterday and today. Anyway, nice as poem. Different but compelling!

I loved it!
Awesome poem!

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere
