Afraid of the dark?
Yeah, me too
Wanna entertain our fears?
We could talk of politics
Or the defacation of once earthly beauty
Or love
Nightmares to visit
Just for kicks and grins, of course
Laughter to scream for
And in the end
We faced the beast
Showing its only remnant
As gristle stuck between our smiles
Let's gawk our way into madness
Before another tax is raised
Another tree replaced by nuclear reactor
Another heart annihilated
Wanna tame our inner fears?
Yeah, me too

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere

Wow I think this is the first time I've read anything from anyone and the only word in my head was "wow". That was freakin awesome.  Wanna tame our inner fears?  Yeah me too.  I love this.

Awesome! & I was impressed by how you
wove the final few lines with messages
relative to the first few lines!
"Entertain our fears"..."Tame our inner fears"
Kewl one, Mr. Gristle!
