It doesn't matter
Don't try
Stop your vanity maze of efforts
Don't care
Its not worth it

Its not worth it
With that sore diagonal machine
Somewhat imbedded somewhere inside
Ignore the pain
Smash your defeated skull

Its not worth it
Its worthless
Pointless
Give up
Loser

Then you'll feel better
Be happy
Live it in sleep only
Harness what was given
Bouncing dangle above my head

Dying for this
Drained by this
Surviving under this
A short measure from losing this
And comforted with this

Surgically implanted desire
The chemistry of me
Built within
Busted and surrounded by myself
Make it stop

Feel this pop
That little bit of effort
The vain struggle inside
Explode
Break it out

He has made everything beautiful in its own time.  -Ecclesiastes 3:11

Wow. This could apply to so many layers of life, I don't think I'll even begin an interpretation.

But know that I read and understand and although it's kind of odd to say "enjoyed" to dark poetry, somehow I did, because I could relate.

thanks gis

"Stop your vanity maze of efforts"
I'm gonna get a rubber stamp of this
line (with your permission, Green)
& plaster it in ruby red
on all the idiotic foreheads of the obtuse!
A Myriad of Ah, Yes!!!

Serenity and Nowhere said it best. Inspired me to write, so off I go!

Thank you everybody.  I appreciate that serenity.  That would be cool with me News, and I guess I'm off to read what you've written Courtney.

Can't forget it. His war is in the blood and guts of the soldier.

In the mind and soul, and embedded in memory like a flashbacked acid trip.

Yeah.  Its hard to forget it.  Actually if I was to ignore it til I die I'll always remember.  It is music.  It drives me freakin crazy.
