Nothing and Nowhere

0 posted 2004-09-14 01:42 AM

Why do I still try?
When I already know
That I have failed.
Scared to dread
The enevitable
Sick of being in trouble
But no one understands
Tired of feeling so worthless
But I can't do (edited by Moderator)
Why won't anyone help me
I'm lying, covered in blood
Still no one helps me
Too busy to care
Too busy to notice
That I'm falling apart
Crying at night
My writing is making no sense
Just bunches of mixed up words
Just another sign of my failure
I can't keep doing this
The pain is too much
I want it to stop
But I keep on going
Listen to the voices
But they just mess me up even worse
My writing neat and tidy
It should be black and scrawling with rage
Rage at the world i don't understand
Filled with people i can't comprehend
(edited by Moderator) the people
Just like them
I have no identity, just a smudged dot
Its all too much
Its sink or swim, here on judgement day
I'm drowning.

Tomorrow, is the today we feared yesterday.

This was the wholly best ever. Omg, I loved it so much, and I felt all of it. I understood.......god I'm jealous of your writing. The ending lines....Arrrrghhhhh
I've saved it and now I'm going to reread it.

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World.

I like it.  It has how you feel and its more like a statement than a poem which works with the title, because its almost like its too much for the poem to handle and the feeling is that of reaching out, out of the page even.  I like it.

I can relate to how you feel and society itself will never comprehend the mind of a writer,
not fully . . .
the gift you do possess is
the abilty TO write . . .
a release . . .
