Thinking of you As the clock ticks slowly Savouring each second Replaying them, into a dream My love for you, is intoxicating So drunk, I stagger Slurring my letters, as my eyes flick to your mouth The smile playing around your lips Muttering non-important words But I relish in every one Each a phrase of love, true poetry Swelling my heart, to point of explosion Surely this bliss, cannot last Something will burst my bubble Pulling me savagely back to Earth For now I remain on my cloud Daydreaming in romantic heaven Holding on to every wisp-as long as I can Determined to be as happy as this moment The moment in which you're smiling At me.
