At the edge and a doorway,TX

I danced along the edge of shadow and reality
Ever searching for something to seem right
You came behind me
and wiped the traces of my footprints away
I would have been dust or smoke that day
Or even called you to say that I was lonely
But I just couldn't bare to hear your voice
The screaming never ended
in my head
The silence never broke from you
You locked my hands behind my back
and stared into my eyes
As if waiting for me to do something remarkable
Blinking and rocking back and forth
was all that I had left in my system
I was drained
and you left me there to suffer alone
Somedays, I put on my trenchcoat and walk down the streets looking for the footprints
that you were suppose to leave
so that I could follow you
I danced along the edge of shadow and reality
Ever searching for something to seem right
This time you didn't show to wipe my feet...

Love,
Ladycat

Kinda creepy.  It was pretty cool.  Sometimes I feel stupid for saying everything is cool, but the writers here are freaking good.

Ladycat...  I have to say, honestly, I cried through out this whole peice.  My husband was my savior from a deep depression and here recently he left me to be someone I had no idea he was.  I've tried to search for that person I once knew and he is nowhere to be found.  We have a beautiful little girl and she will be lost, too.  He left me for another woman which I would think he has nothing in common with.  He is my soul-mate and now I'm just waiting and wandering for him to come home but I see it nowhere in sight.  Thank you for writing my heartfelt words so beautifully.  And woman to woman... this hurts like hell.
