I don't want to be me.
Can we just pretend
for a little while?
You don't have to save me -
don't have to be free.
I don't want to be me.
Can we just drink some warm tea?
You don't have to bleed for me -
don't have to dream to be.
I don't want to be me.
Can we just make believe
you can't see me?
You don't have to save me.
Just be blind -
don't see.
I don't want to be me.

This reminds me of so many times in life where people want to help but it feels like criticism and it stings. Nicely done.
