In a state of disrepair...

A land rich in oil,
unimaginable spoils.

Save us all from intelligent vagary.

The words on the paper,
little facts on our neighbour,
are a false woven flavour
and there is something to savour.

Save us all from political knavery.

The reasons were chosen;
the fabrications then woven.
They said "nothing to be stolen",
yet their hooves may be cloven.

Save us all from government "bravery".

When the whistle is blown
like birds from the soil
the fat calves have flown
while all feathered in oil,

leaving nothing but blood on the soil...

Just some of my views (albeit cynical) on Iraq.
The only other point I'd like to make is that this is an indictment of all governments with troops in Iraq. OK well, thats me done...

"And the sun went down, and the stars came out far over the summer sea,
But never a moment ceased the fight of the one and the fifty-three."
