I wanted to be with you,

To hold you,

And kiss you,

When you are not around,

I wanted to miss you,

And please you,

I wanted to give you,

Rings, and cards,

Bunnies, and roses,

But instead I gave you,

My trust,

I was afraid to share it,

To give you a part of mine,

For many have used me,

In their life,

Once again I thought,

I give someone a chance,

No two people are alike,

Just like no two snowflakes,

But was I wrong?

To give my trust,

All of it-

In a short time,

Your lies are not big,

But they mock me,

A fool I am made today,

No tears can show,

No apologies can mend,

No anger can shun,

The pain I feel inside,

Here I am

Once again alone,

Learning the lesson

I should have learned,

I can only trust one to be true,

To be honest with me,

And you have shown,

That its is not you...

I liked it, but I thought it got better as it went along. It was stronger at the end.

this is amazing
i know the feeling of only being able to trust in one person... believe me it is a lonely place.
your ability of using imagery in your writing is overwhelming.
you have amazing talent and cant wait to see more of your work.
