Sorrow fills the air
Blowing into the wind
Rustling the leaves down the road
Into the ever-present darkness
A vioceless sympathy
Calls out into the night
To take the pain away
Leave the hollow shell

Silence rings out
Heard throughout the night
Torn apart and blowing the branch dry
Tears of the sorrow
Drip down from the sky
The voiceless sympathy
Moves into its cave
Away from the rugged night
Away from the pain
Hiding from the bad
Just to be soon
Helpless

And the blowing wind stops
And the silence stays alert
The tears fall with caution
While the frigid light shines
Brighter,and brighter, and brighter
Until the darkness drifts away
And the silence fades
The tears slowly come to a halt

And
the day
comes yet
Again.

Until,
the next night.

"Love doesn't make the world go 'round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile."
