"Stuck Inside" Tormented inner structure crumbling under pressure waiting in an internal abyss like an empty ocean barren of life all have gone and have died all that remains is an unanswered thought A hidden lurking predator ridding the current waiting to strike as its mystery induces a great fear rationalising its intrepid voyage leaves only further questions what is so scary if the threat is not assessed what I hide of my childhood to myself what became of the din recess of my life up to now how I missed what I believed my only chance for her my failure to understand myself This leaves me awake most nights trembling The throne I once sat upon is now blooded now I stand looking up at the great incline a sign points a landslide but there is no path back Im new to poetry if you liked it please tell me what you think of my other stuff |

thanks river and yes i am relatively new, bit about myself. I failed English at school and never followed it up. I read philosophy books a lot though. Also i was told at high school i had no literary creativity. |
