stand within the shadows linger more with every step lose the song of sparrows cry. my face sobering wet love is not my ally hate is not my friend now, though I try my heart is broken beyond mend this love hurts like daggers this hurt makes me bend I want to cool off with anger but that only signals my end drown this song, my danger bleed my pain to past forge my wall with battered fingers demolish self with hell last don't you dare let me love another don't you dare let me suffer again my stone face refuses a "together" this cold place houses only one so independant stranger I become so become alone i stay forever sleep my precious slumber |

I disagree with all of u (expect for when u say this poem is great, there i can agree), But my fav line is "My stone face refuses a "together"" I love that line, as well as all ur poems River, Hollow I linger in the shadows, I breathe when I see you. |

I like this poem. It sounds daek and hurt. The line I like the best is "demolish self with hell last" This line sounds like trying and trying and getting nowhere and I can relate. GIS Why live for gold when you can be happy? |
