They roam the land, Leaving no trace. They are no where close to being visibly bright, Because they are the shadows of the night. Turn off the lights, Don't be afraid, Close your eyes, Don't feel delayed. Ignore your fears, Ignore the anxiety to scream. The spirits are drawing near, This isn't an unconcious dream. Don't hide, Don't cry. Let them sit by your side. They won't say you'll die. They'll just say, "Goodnight." They darken the skies, They weaken your might. They are no where in sight, They are the shadows of the night. |

A rather fascinating piece, but what do you mean by "don't feel delayed." That line just struck me as something really strange to say right then. It seems like forced rhyme. "I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation." |

"don't feel delayed" means 'don't hesitate, don't stop' , thats all. im glad u like it! i have other posts in the first tab. Phil |
