We’re dying young
And we’re dying hopeless
A formless weight
For each others shoulders
Build me a…
Build me a…
Build me an easy world
Silence the crowds, say not a word

A shot rings out, into this nothing
Find…yourself…now
Flashing lights and bannered eyes
Left alone to learn a lesson
“You found your hole and don’t your dare come out”
Memories to matches
All these faces are of no concern
You’ll learn to love this
You’ll learn to love…

We’re dying spaced
A generation of placeless roaches
Say what you want, we can’t bother to listen
An epidemic, a place to rest your head
A little ending, in this ever running dread
A vodka viceroy, spread your wings and die

What are we being saved from?
It could never be ourselves
“We’ll be okay, when we want to be, not with you and not from me”
Speak loud, so that they don’t hear
This love, thus is life, welcome fear
Fear the fact that we aren’t stable
Fear the fact that we don’t try
This is an always ending sorrow
Push tomorrow way aside

We bleed, bloody, just like you do
We’re damaged and borrowed
Because we’re dying young
And we’re buried broken
And as you wipe us all away
“What can I say?”
Tomorrow means prolonging
What hasn’t gone away
Cover my face, with another wall
“Say not a word, we love you, but say not a word”
These are the paper cut pretties
Sit down and shut your mouth…

Very powerful piece. Very true, real. This was worded just right, and as I said, very powerful. I especially love the lines, "We're dying young and we're dying hopeless." and, "Because we're dying young and we're buried broken."
This is art.
Thank you for sharing.

We were meant to live for so much more have we lost ourselves?
Maybe redemption has stories to tell maybe forgiveness is right where you fell.

Wow, this is such a true peice. True and powerful

This could almost be a song!! I love it!

"Cover my face, with another wall"

That has to be the best line, to me anyway.

I totally feel the emotion in it, I like how you were the voice of the generation, if you know what I mean.

Rock on

Ryan~

'This is an always ending sorrow
Push tomorrow way aside'

I felt the despair ... and maybe, just maybe ... a ray of hope ?
