Anticipation fills my soul
Palms begin to sweat
My head starts to spin
My stomach nauseous
I sit quietly
My eyes pacing across the empty wall
The things I could do
The person I could be
The life I could live
But know inside
That it will never be
For I am a prisoner
Of fear

We spend our whole lives trying to live, only to realize that we don’t know what life is truly about until it is too late.

Fear wears many hats for me and it holds a lot of us prisoners of our own control.  Sometimes a safety net as well.  Very good read.  I like the perspective.

You all are too kind
