Quiet envelopes,
Only sounds of
Whistling winds
Heard,
I linger,
Steadily evaporating
From your thoughts,
Bidding,
Goodbye.

While you roam,
Free of
Love and
Tribulation,
I remain
Bound,
By love for
You.

This love,
Turned too great,
Forbids sanity,
Escape,
Until sentiments
Wither.

Wordless sounds
Spew from
Trembling lips,
Cheeks glisten
From restrained droplets,
Surging down,
Heart seeps,
Body bleeds,
I perceive,
The intricacy of
Impending task.

I fear,
When I barricade myself,
From you,
Resentment will consume,
Friendship will perish,
I diminish,
Regretting,
Not holding you,
At all.

Silence breaks,
Goodbye unmasks
Itself,
Half rejoices,
Half grieves,
Because either way,
I forfeit
You.
