i'm back for now.. this doesn't really fit "dark poetry", but mostly everthing else will.I'm a little rusty, so give me a break.

[winter]

I can taste you now,
and I can see you when I breathe.
Everything’s crystallizing in your wake.

This time of year.

It’s this time of year that my silver linings rust
with the freezing dew of morning.
It’s this time of year that I can’t seem to forge smiles.
My face is too cold,
my muscles are too sore.

I must confess that my knees buckle at your excellence.
We’re so much alike except for that factor, my friend.
You’re so flawless, so pure.
The stinging sheet of white covers any imperfection that this earth holds.
..few.

This time of year.

It’s this time of year that everyone’s locked inside
it makes me look normal for once.
It’s this time of year that everything dies.
Just like my insides,
they’ve been like that so long.

I can taste you now,
and I can see you when I breathe.
Everything’s crystallizing in your wake.

I miss
this time of year.

Know how much I want to show you you're the only one.
Like a bed of roses there's a dozen reasons in this gun.
