Thick it moves ever so slow
Heavy indention in my head
Exact and percise
Momment of dirt solid marks of time

I can see from beneath the stones
Pale and gray at first
A feather's stroke of black
Twisted individual noises in the dark
A glimpse in the crevices of the forgotten realms of my own mind

I have found that tiny door
With the lock without a key my restless soul searches for with dire need
From this present state of the under side of a pin from the sky
I lay flat on the surface of the soft earth
And scream for my way
My way of life
The essence of my being

I grudge and squeeze and struggle for a breath of human acceptance
Knowing his mind will never allow me to be free from a form of his superiority
Flawless and perfect without a scratch, and a very hard surface, impenetrable
An opinion held by a man even during his eternal sleep
An opinion I will never accept
He chooses for us to never conform to the set expectations of the natural cycles of this life
Let him hold himself down

Every bitter phrase and remark is another link of the chain that holds this father from his son
Let him construct the wall I refuse to scale
His request is my perfection to his idea of my life
He will always request and never recieve

The more I understand, the more I see, the brighter comfort and awareness becomes
These wet motions of my brain wash out the set standards of what I can not do
Let me flow
And bathe it the sun rays of wholesome oneness with my inner self
That cannot be taken from me

Burning the whats unaccepted

Lightly blowing ashes

Closed will remain closed until opened.

well I think I already sortove know the story behind this: "His request is my perfection to his idea of my life" ...wow, good topic to pick for a poem, I see the anger and rebellion here...have you shown this to him? ha ha, just kidding... groovy job Craig, very inspiring.

Good for you. The only thing in this one chance of life is to be yourself. A very deep poem. Maggie
