Don’t rush headlong  into
a future of doubt
savour the gifts
God has bestowed,

the tinkling laughter of
a meandering brook
on a grand dance
towards distant mountains
evoking admiration
in their rugged stillness.

watch as ewes give life
and tend  their young.
Capture the moment as
fledglings attempt their first flight

Take solace from heavens
brightest star,
as sunlight  melts away
disquiet in your heart.

Don’t gallop headlong
into a future of doubt
only to ask later,
what was life all about?

Absolutely incredibly sound advise.  If one stops to view the wonder around them sometimes they are so small in the scheme of all things.

Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.

maggie-nice write, i loved the part about the meandering brook, kind of like most peoples lives, just slowly rolling along with bends and breaks all the way through

"So what befalls the flawless?
Look what I've built, it shines so beautifully now watch as it destroys me."
