I hear the darknes calling
whispering stickly sweet words
of seduction
caressing my body
like a wanton lover

I try to fight it
renounce
drowning the words
with rote relgious
magic
"Our Father"
doesn't work anymore
as her evil dances on
my tongue
this midnight eve

Every night she comes to me
and every night
have I warded her advances
but will is fast fading
Will I hold this former lover
at bay
yet another night
