{ Sorrow is an on-going tale in poetry form}.

The Weeping of Sorrow part I of the tale “Sorrow”)

Sorrow weeps ageless tears
Throughout her timeless years
as she wanders endlessly
veiled in silent fears.
Tattered wings of tissue paper,
skin of alabaster
and hollow eyes of gray.
She remains tangled in the knowing
that many will foolishly call her name.

Sorrows Mind (part II of the tale "Sorrow" the tale)

Loneliness slides down the walls
as a whisper from her cold lips falls.
Emptiness fills grand mansions of the mind
and caresses the skin with slices harshly unkind.
Caring freezes itself in motionless time
only to mock existence as a skeletal faced mime.
Longing drowns in a vast red flood
of callus and calculating icy blood.
Pondering upon your question of how she feels
reveals only that Sorrow knows to be the depth of what is real.

Sorrow Feels (part III of the tale “Sorrow”)

Pain and longing heartlessly embedded within
Her empty shell of beautiful skin
As her never-ending journey tears gapping holes
In her ever weakening soul.
Sew it shut with golden thread
Only to observe, with momentary trepidation,
The loving stitches shed.
Escaping into the catacombs of malicious vindication
When Sorrow spews self-inflicted deterioration.

Sorrow Longs (part IV of the tale “Sorrow”)

Beautiful colors run from her depths
dripping slowly from her cold lips
as she catches them gently upon alabaster hand.
She laps the leaking soul from her thin fingertips
in feeble attempt to replenish the liquid spirals
of  her empty and forbidden land.
Sighs escape the depths of her caverns
coated in stinging icy patterns.
Longing for a lovers' passionate, warming caress.
Ridding amongst loneliness she has nothing left to confess.
Pulling gently at her forever present, blackened shroud
she weeps tears of endless fire
only to have them melt upon the hands of Desire.
Here Sorrow mourns
entwined in piercing, blackened repulsion thorns.

Sorrow Sleeps (part V of the tale “Sorrow”)

Moonlight voicelessly cascades across Sorrows lands
as she cradles floods of endless tears upon her trembling hands.
Whispers echo tauntingly hidden within the quiet breeze
bringing Sorrow crumbling to her bruised and tender knees.
Unforgiving the moonlight creeps in velvet drape
knowing in the end, she will not escape.
She pleads in silent screams…
“Darkness, bring me not your slumber, bring me not your haunting dreams”.
Sneering wide with dripping smile
Darkness steps into Sorrows mind to weave his torment in horrid toil.
Resting her weary head
She pleads again, “Bring me not your scalding dread”.
Slowly her eyes fasten tight
and her screams subside deep within the foreboding night.
Here, within the pits of her own misery
She faces her torturing destiny.
…and Darkness grins
knowing in the end, it always wins
over Sorrows lands
and the night laughs wickedly at her tear filled hands.
