of faith and absolution
there is little to say
but abstraction

remove muscle from bone
leave only sinew

believing corruption

and in good time
smell the putrid glue
of human weakness

spirit is man's strength
receive its freedom
divine the lightening

deceive the sapient
who bring to ground
the body electric

to drown its radiance
in their Stygian
thought pools

silence your self-pity
and you shall hear
me bleeding

before the world was
I was dying
and my words
proclaimed it

before I was born
you were forgiven
for crimes
now twice committed

fulfill your vision quest

reach inward for the stars
and find heaven
within you

"before the world was
I was dying
and my words
proclaimed it"

This is outstanding. Enjoyed the read.
