Will deserts
be the place?

Jungles were……
once…

that place,

where boys like you…

gave everything.

Foreign land
drains much blood.

Grand schemes
feed……
on minor dreams.

Though, I have seen the reaper…

now…

I truly fear him.

"Who knows if to live is to be dead, and to be dead, to live? And we really, it may be, are dead; in fact I once heard sages say that we are now dead, and the body is our tomb." Socrates

I would love to see more flesh on this one, but I still enjoyed the piece, it has an elusive feel.

Thanks, Sparticus.

My son is preparing to deploy, and I was just comparing world events to another time and place with which I am familiar.
