Death does court daily
promising escape
and finally peace
from the noise
and constant pain
but at days end
I find him only a tease
as I lay my head
on down pillow
hoping to wake to
ferryman's last call
standing on Styx's red shores
Oh that death would take me!
But I always wake to the alarms
unholy ring
another day that isn't mine
and pain that is given
too freely
Am I chained by some unfinished
mission or duty?
Or just a damned soul
doomed to wander the world
for all eternity
These questions plague me
but I come up empty
death courts daily
as I long for my dark love's
final consumation.

SOunds like life at times.  Or maybe that feeling in the dapths of the stomaches of the restless, where time is life and the faster it goes the faster you go.  Or its fron the perspsctive that one day we're all going to die, so until then lets get done as much as possible.

You've done well here in expressing those dark feelings we have all experienced.

We are all tuned. The difference between us lies with the ones who are tuned in.

Outstanding Brad, I often go here. Keeping these lines.
