Round World

In a world of round holes, I am a square peg
Never to fit inside a glide that feels comfortable
As fragile as an egg,
Surroundings uncomfortable

I am a square peg in a round world,
Finding out that each one in the next
Is all the same
Never changed,

The square peg in a world of round,
Outside this standard deviation of a bell curve,
Not to fit
Nor will it ever

I am the square peg in your round world.

"So what befalls the flawless?
Look what I've built, it shines so beautifully now watch as it destroys me."

I love the theme repetition in this, a chant that draws attention to your premise.

Different than "usual" as if there is a usual. I don't seem to fit in with too many people either, so I can relate.
