It came to me like a dream, this charged commission,
In which way I should go, where is my trough,
It felt like I had wings carrying me up to my fate,
I reached the top and my wings fell off,

Dropping me down to an all too familiar place,
I knew the smell, but could not place myself.
As if the world turned me upside out, inside down
Confused, wasn't I just here- inconvenience,

This maze of nonsense, trying to make sense
Surrounded by a wall of mime like walls,
Closing in on my life bubble,
Fill my can with pepper,

Line my thoughts with salt,
I was always too bland for you,
Cardboard, line-less paper,
Capers sent me into insanity,

And where do I go from here, the cow is not appeased.
The light shines all but this way but darkness avoids me,
Gray surrounds, eyes tied open, brain wired shut,
Trapped in a bed of lies am I,

About all the misfortunate, Miss. Forgotten,
And the blood spilled on the ground was so thick
Like syrup on a cold day.  I can feel the confusion
Rolling off my back like water mixing with oil,

The feathers of the duck are not so slick.
The leaves are so foreign to me,
Dip my head beneath the water,
Searching for my prey-

I have lost it through the bubbling waters,
From my mouth the air escapes,
I see my silken body float beneath the surface,
A mirror upon my life, and thus

Goes the hands of time,
I have the wounds to prove,
The clock strikes with her hands.

"So what befalls the flawless?
Look what I've built, it shines so beautifully now watch as it destroys me."

Hey eor, great come back. The entire write is outstanding, but these first lines kept calling me back for another read. "It came to me like a dream, this charged commission,
In which way I should go, where is my trough,
It felt like I had wings carrying me up to my fate,
I reached the top and my wings fell off,

Dropping me down to an all too familiar place,
I knew the smell, but could not place myself".... I reached the top and my wings fell off. Great return eor. Good to read you again man.

Hey man,
this put me on a hook.
"And where do I go from here, the cow is not appeased.
The light shines all but this way but darkness avoids me,
Gray surrounds, eyes tied open, brain wired shut,
Trapped in a bed of lies am I,"
And as someone else said, written with thorough greatness.  Nice to see you back.

Awake through motion with curiosity to curtain your first move
Over arms length they'll break protocol
Jealous envy for the youngest one
