I step back into the darkness from wence I came
Can't survive in the world of light fore
             It drives me insane
So i'll cling to the shadows like i use to do
              In silent fortitude.
But i'll be thinking of you
Cause i've been through all the colors
               Right into the shades
And the place I live in now is darker then the
                      grave
And your the only one who tried to save and felt
                    My grasp
and even though I had to give you up you can be
                     sure
            the memories will last.

I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson-

sad....but lovely.

There are only three beings worth of respect; the priest, the solider and the poet; To know, To Kill  and to create.

wow, that was beautiful."Cause i've been through all the colors Right into the shades
And the place I live in now is darker then the grave." This whole part just really grapped my heart. I can feel all the love and pain that went into making this. Excellent poem.

That was beautiful. I made my heart ache

Strange that despite all that the darkness holds it seems to be the only place where oneself can feel a semblance of normality, of comfort. Excellent write!

I really can realate to this. I like it alot. True it is a sad thing; however, I wouldn't change a thing about it.
