Can one Lie in Love do this much?

Time was rushing by
& I couldn’t prolong the lie
There was this burden up my head
This wrongdoing of mine, I wanted to defy

So, I revealed the truth
But Alas! I Lost You
Though, it struck me before
Destruction was all it had to do

Now the burden has gone
Yet, regret is still there
Some differences are also drawn
B/w us who always had similarities to share

I hurt you for a while
Got my self hurt for long
I’m really sorry "Mohsin"
That eternity love was lead to wrong
But tell me, dint I really care enough?
Or was there something left in my love?
Just wanted to clear the only thing b/w us
But sigh! I got titled as a big bluff

Now you hate me, I know
Its big of you, it doesn’t show
The carpet has been pulled off beneath feet
I’ve fallen, I’m torn and just want to retreat

More shattered I am, my spirits have wilt
Can any gun get my memories killed?
I’m on with my life, you’re on with yours
So,lets step with eyes open to the next doors.

I think I started writing so I could edit my words, as I too have said many things in my life that leave me feeling regret.
