There was a day
when
the paper circulated
in black and white.
Like societies woes
I accepted,
or should I?
So I read,
as the caverns of my own
inequities pleaded
for the Sun to shine.
Within, I was being watched-
they knew me
as they passed by,
offering black ribbons
for a toast to our demise.
I listened as others wanted
to know.
When the Holy plated cavalry
would -

banished.

I lost my cries
to be among the so high.
I know now  -it’s me-
ME inside.

If nothing is something
then everything is
our thoughts and feelings
and all that exists.
