Guilty Freedom

You were crying that night.
The storm came
but I couldn't place the rain...
How guilty my pleasure
But I could feel it
I could feel you.

The tears spoke your wordless goodbye
The slamming door
My guilty revelry...
Made it real
To melt into my own
So that I could feel it,
So that I could feel you...

Couldn't place the rain
Opened in you my suffering soul
Filled you with a burning Hurt
All so that I could feel it,
All so that I could feel you...

I am not a man because I am of men. I am a man because I am of the Spirit, among men.
