Through noise of the quiet,
little details.
Does the ceiling convex
or concave in each blink?

Learning to sing
without knowing voices.
Tongue tasting tips
of flowers, slow words.

I kiss you uniquely
against hard impressions.
You float in  your choices,
as comfort wills.

Your eyes are read slides,
urgency's light.
Lengths and depths flashing
beyond past abandons.

Blue curtains flutter
like insect wings dancing,
caught in the light,
cotton-mouthed webs.

Kiss me once more,
passed strand to strand.
Meet on the Strand.
Baptismal and drowning.

Claw out your hand
and reach for my palm.
Stroke where you clamped down
as we slide under.

Perfect formation
left in my flesh.
Let me return it
as we sing sleep.
