some where deep in the shadows

Dancing colors,
At the edge of the peripherals
Bright and fantastic
And yet…
Still there is nothing
But for a dull pain
Hidden deep within…
The shadows,
Lurking
Lay here waiting,
For one with an angel’s eyes,
To scare away the demons…
And let in the light
-lance

There is no peace among the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of thirsting gods

This piece failed to grab me, at the start. I almost didn't finish reading it. But the last few lines made it worthwhile.

"I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation."

"For those who understand you, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, none is possible."
