Maybe I should write a song
about how life is cruel.
And the air is punishing me.
A big spalsh of air, as I collaspe.
Not today, I won't complain.
I won't label it good or bad.
I'll be the girl sitting up on the roof,
eating watermelon.

to be continued....

In the days of "flower power", we sometimes sat on the roof and played cards or monopoly.

Watermelon would have done nicely for "the munchies".

I enjoyed the read, well done, as usual.

Oooh. Smiling, I was just talking about this.
May you write an ending that serves you well. I like the possibilities of "to be continued..."
