Feeding the beast
That resides
Within my chest
Reaping the harvest
Sown by
The cleanest ones
“Yes, yes, yes, yes, you my monkey”
It says to me
He pulls me in
So close
To his hearts
Beat and a thump
She shows
The under door
“Yes, yes, yes, yes, you my monkey”
Pulling into the cellar
Dustless, damp and dirty
Stained, stamped and sturdy
“You are mine, yes, yes, yes my monkey”
Rip the reflections
From mirrors
Showing the messed
Feeding the beast
That resides
Within my chest
Is this all you have to offer
The one who holds your worms?
“Yes, yes, yes, yes, you my monkey”
The beast in the chest
Is breaking through
The mothers breast
The beast in the chest
Is breaking through
The mothers rest
“Yes, it’s time, for you, my monkey”

You've really got something I like going on here. And yep, everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey.

There is a rhythm to this that cries for a drum, and it is indeed like maddening undercurrent thought reverberating.

Enjoyed.
